    Espectacular el Mansory, y mira que no soy amigo de este tipo de preparadores, pero me ha gustado. Me sobra el centro de volante amarillo, el "Mansory" de las puertas y las miles de M's por la fibra de carbono y los dos turbos, pero quitando eso :D...

    Open for exclusivity: MANSORY puts the crown on the CARBONADO and takes off the roof. In the same Coupé lavishly dressed in carbonfibre based on the Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador the luxury refiner now also presents the Roadster - and the CARBONADO APERTOS will only be available exactly three times more often. Which three customers are awarded the honor will be a tough decision. The demand will certainly be very strong, the CARBONADO APERTOS is genuinely MANSORY though. Because where Lamborghini thought they had built with a surplus of carbon, the manufacturer shines with its core competence. There is no company name on the market that has such a close connection with carbon as that of MANSORY. With Inhouse autoclaves the specialists manufacture and process the ultra-light and high-strength material from the world of motor racing and are therefore not dependent on suppliers. This gives absolute freedom in scope, design, fit and individualization. Best proof of this is the completely redesigned bodywork made from carbon fibre in the world-exclusive Stealth Look. The conceived reliance on the shape of stealth aircraft find its full expression at MANSORY, when the specialist gifted the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster a unique design with an appropriate stealth carbon texture. In addition to the optics the technology also reaches new highlights, for example, the striking air intakes optimizes the new front spoiler for the flow of fresh air to the radiator. Together with the specially designed front lip there is also an improved downforce for more traction in the marginal area. Unlike the stealth shape of the carbon the completely newly developed daytime running lights can be clearly seen even from a distance. On the sides the striking side skirts and the larger wheel arches demonstrate the hand of the house of MANSORY. At the front the body has grown by 40 at the rear even by an impressive 50 millimeters in width. Also here looks and functionality go hand in hand. Because the new carbon components not only look diabolically good, they also act as air controller and even feed fresh air both to the unit under the new full carbon bonnet as well as to the rear braking system. The newly developed diffuser and the striking rear spoiler are responsible for perfect routing effect of the air flow underneath the vehicle.

    The MANSORY interior programme
    As if the refinement needed additional features, the upholstery has also continued in the cockpit. As with the aerodynamic components, the performance gains, and the wheels MANSORY only thinks in superlatives when it comes to interior refinements. The leather alone combines the properties which would otherwise involve compromises, but it is extremely durable and yet supple as a real leather glove. The covered seats and the instrument panel harmonize perfectly with the new sports airbag steering wheel, the aluminum pedals with the knobs and the numerous carbon fittings.

    In order to transfer this power of the completely reworked twelve-cylinder engine onto the asphalt, MANSORY only relies on forged light-alloy wheels in 9x20 and 13x21 inch size with carbon inlays and the ultra high-performance Pirelli P ZERO tyres in sizes 255/30ZR20 at the front and 355/25ZR21 at the rear.

    All of these technical improvements are necessary because the CARBONADO APERTOS significantly exceeds the performance figures of the series Aventador. MANSORY has namely rebuilt the V-engine with its 6.5 liters of displacement. Pistons, connecting rods, rod bearings, crankshaft, cranks and the entire cylinder head were replaced by the team of Kourosh MANSORY with full-fledged motorsport components and at the same time two original MANSORY turbochargers were installed. In addition the CARBONADO APERTOS also received a completely new custom exhaust system from the engine to the stainless steel tail pipes on the rear. The result of this extensive rebuilding process is a boost in performance, which even the most demanding connoisseurs had not expected: from 700 hp (515 kW) MANSORY pushes the power output to a peak of an incredible 1,250 hp (920 kW). The maximum torque had to be electronically limited to 900 Newton meters by the engineering department. The all-wheel-drive sports car doesn't need more than 2.6 seconds to sprint from zero to 100 km/h and only stops accelerating at 380 km/h.

    During 1996, Automobili Lamborghini SpA contacted SAT in France to design and build a race version of the Diablo to be able to compete in the GT championships, much like the Porsche GT1 from 1997, this was a car that needed to be based on a production car, but with a completely race oriented setup.

    SAT, Signes Advanced Technology, is a company based in Toulon, France which is specialized in the design and construction of prototypes and race cars, they were contracted to design and build what would become the Diablo GT1, while Automobili Lamborghini SpA would supply a custom V12 engine and get the entire project through homologation.

    A special 6-Liter engine was created with an enlarged stroke, later another evolution of this engine would be used in the Diablo GT and the VT 6.0 production model. By using a reprogrammed injection system this engine reached 655 Bhp driving the massive 18 inch rear wheels only.

    At first the Diablo GT1 was shown with Michelin tires, but later these were replaced with racing slicks made by Dunlop, note that only two GT1's were ever built, chassis numbers VLA12001 and WLA12000, the first one was sold to the JLOC in Japan and they have been using it to compete in the Japanese GTC ever since 1997. The second Diablo GT1 was finished in bright yellow and remained the property of SAT, were it was being displayed at their factory.

    As usual with special GT cars the bodywork was heavily redesigned and only looked slightly like the original Diablo, a brand new, very deep front chin spoiler and the obvious adjustable rear wing were mounted. The front spoiler also housed a large oil cooler with a central air intake, the front turn signals were still used, however the pop up headlights were replaced by air intakes and small poly-ellipsoid lights covered with Plexiglas.

    From the 1998 season on, the Japanese Diablo GT1 received small fins at both sides of the front bumper to increase down force. Also the front hood now incorporated air extractors to allow the air to pass through the front mounted oil cooler, the side windows were replaced by Plexiglas units and used a small sliding part and three air outlets were cut into the rear part of the window.

    The entire rear section of the Diablo GT1 could be removed to allow easy access to the massive V12 engine, this engine received two air intakes just behind the roof section to draw cool air inside, special outlets were built into the rear cover to allow an air current through the compartment with the bodywork in place.

    The entire suspension geometry and chassis was modified by SAT to comply with racing regulations, also the body panels were made by SAT themselves, in ultra-light carbon fiber naturally, note that the upswing opening doors were still used on the Diablo GT1.

    The project was finalized and presented to the factory in April 1997 while both the Italian Ministry of Transport and the Federation International de l'Automobile confirmed homologation in 1998, unfortunately Chrysler didn't went forward with the Diablo GT1 idea and after Audi AG bought the factory, the Diablo GT and GTR were developed, the special GTC series were abandoned.

    El MAnsory ya lo había visto en ese mismo video de Shmee150, y como a él, me parece absurdo.

    El Gt1 lo ví en su día, pero quedo en proto creo recordar.

    Los GT1 no legaron a comercializarse. Se fabricaron dos unidades y se abandonó el proyecto.

    Yo también veo de vez en cuando vídeos de esta hornada de Youtubers ingleses como Shmee o MR JWW y flipo con las cuadras que mantienen. Y ya no digamos cuando hacen vídeos de coches de amigos... El primero que recuerdo haber visto de Shmee era yendo a recoger con un amigo un Huayra BC nada menos.

    Si ,no van mal no, ingresan mucho, pero que mucho, de hecho Shmee emepzó con un Clio, y ahora aguanta un Aston gt8, un Aston Virage, un Mclaren 675,Un ferrari FF,Un Cayman gt4, un Focus Rs y un Mini....algunos son una especiae de "prestamo" como el Mc pero el resto sale de las visitas....vaya tela.
