The car has been refinished in metallic maroon and is powered by a 572ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes manual four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip differential, manual steering, Keystone wheels, and side pipes. This modified C3 Corvette was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2022 and is now offered in Florida with records, parts literature, period publications, a 1968 Corvette assembly manual, and a clean Arizona title. The body was finished in metallic maroon subsequent to the installation of a shooting-brake-style Sportwagon roof with a removable targa panel as well as rear fender flares and a high-rise cowl-induction hood. The pop-up headlight covers were shaved, and dual fixed headlamps were installed below the chrome front bumper. Additional features include front fender vents, push-button door handles, chrome ribbed side-pipe covers, dual mirrors, a short antenna, a chrome split rear bumper, and 572 badging. Series 32 Keystone 15″ wheels with two-piece composite steel rims and aluminum centers are finished in chrome with black accents and are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 245/60 up front 295/50 at the rear. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel discs. The interior is trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dash pad and carpeting overlaid with branded mats. The selling dealer notes that the heater core leaked and was bypassed, rendering the heater/defroster inoperative. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer while auxiliary gauges and a clock are positioned in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 85k miles, approximately 30 of which were driven by the selling dealer. True mileage is unknown. The General Motors ZZ572/720R 572ci V8 breathes through an aluminum single-plane intake manifold topped by a 1,150-cfm Dominator carburetor with an open-element air filter as well as cast-iron exhaust manifolds flowing into a dual exhaust system with side pipes. Spark is provided by an MSD 6AL-2 control box and distributor with a Blaster coil. A rebuild of the engine in 2013 included the following: Balancing the crankshaft Resurfacing the cylinder heads (.006″) Manley H-beam rods with ARP cap screws Clevite main bearings Performance valve job Crane Cam valve springs and retainers Comp Cams locators Replacement valve seals Replacement valve-guide liner Replacement oil pump Replacement timing chain gears Replacement cylinder-head and intake-manifold gaskets Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hurst-shifted Richmond Gear five-speed manual transmission with a Ram Clutches Powergrip HD clutch set as well as a

Y su versión moderna... 750 HP Callaway Corvette Aerowagen - One Take 27 abr 2017 TheSmokingTire This Callaway Aerowagen combines two of Callaway's Corvette packages into one: The $15,000 Aerowagen hatch conversion, available for all C7 Corvettes, and the $18,000 Z06 Power Kit, which brings power and torque up to a fully warrantied 757 HP and 775 lb/ft. Though fun is hampered a bit by GM's sluggish automatic transmission, the Aerowagen is one of the fastest, most terrifying new cars I've driven in some time.
