Repair work may, however, also be performed by an authorised workshop accepted by the manufacturer. In this case, the buyer has to make sure that the workshop notifies the EUROPlus service unit of the claim by phone, fax or e-mail and has obtained a permission to repair before initiating the repair job.Costs of repair work performed without a prior permission to repair having been obtained from the EUROPlus service unit shall be borne by the buyer himself.
If it is not possible for the EUROPlus service unit to settle costs directly with the workshop performing the repair work abroad (outside Germany), the buyer shall advance the repair costs and shall be entitled to assert any repair costs incurred in connection with the warranty directly to the EUROPlus service unit (also see “notification and handling of claims in European countries outside Germany”).The repair invoice paid by the buyer must be submitted to the EUROPlus service unit within one month of the invoice date. The invoice must detail the labour costs and the standard labour hours as well as the costs.
A EUROPlus service unit agent must be granted permission to inspect the vehicle and obtain the necessary information on claims assessment.

    Buyer’s deductible
Material costs covered by the warranty shall be based on the manufacturer’s recommended retail price and depend on the kilometrage of the damaged components at the time the repair work was carried into effect; maximum allowance see below:

The buyer’s warranty claim and assumption/reimbursement of costs shall be conditional upon observance of the buyer’s obligations as mentioned above.

Transfer of warranty to the buyer of the car
If the car is sold during the warranty period, the warranty shall only be assigned to the respective buyer if the following conditions, in cumulative terms, have been complied with:

    Limitation of action
