motorhome specialist Volkner has just unveiled its new Mobil Performance S with a little bit of marketing help from a Bugatti Chiron – a $3 million exotic hypercar can make anything look and sound good.
Volkner makes high-end,
high-priced motorhomes for those that want to live it up while they’re on the road. This model costs a cool €2.035 million ($2.4 million) and is currently on display at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon.
The Mobil Performance S motorhome is the epitome of luxury and features a 430 hp engine. The roof is adorned with an array of solar panels and at the touch of a button, a storage area between the two axles reveals itself. For the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon, Volkner was able to slot a Bugatti Chiron onto this slide-out platform.
The inside of the motorhome is equally over-the-top. Found within is a combination of cream-colored paint and leather upholstery that gives the motorhome an feeling of luxury and style. Hand-laid Macassar wood veneers add to the motorhome’s exclusivity, as does a Burmester sound system said to be worth €300,000 ($354,000). There is also a built-in coffee machine, a section of floor that extends outward, an L-shaped kitchen, and a large bathroom.
Customers will also find all the amenities they could ever wish for, including an induction cooktop, microwave, oven, and a wine cabinet. Powering many of the appliances is the 2,000-watt solar array and an 8-kW generator. Volkner has also developed a multi-zone heating system for the Mobil Performance S.
As you could have probably guessed, the motorhome doesn’t come with the
Chiron, which has simply been used for demonstration purposes. After all, we suspect the vacations taken by Chiron owners usually involve private jets and luxury resorts, not motorhomes – but, for Volkner’s customers, it’s nice to know that they can take their supercar along if they so wish.
