One-Off Lamborghini Huracan Aperta Isn’t Designed For The Purist NOVEMBER 5, 2021 Last year, YouTuber Daily Driven Exotics took a Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder and removed the windshield, creating a Speedster or ‘Aperta’ variant of the mid-engined supercar. The idea of taking a perfectly good Lamborghini and chopping off the windshield and A-pillars may seem like a crazy idea, and to most, it is a crazy idea. Evidently, Damon Fryer from Daily Driven Exotics doesn’t think like most people and knowing that Lamborghini itself wasn’t going to make an Aperta version of the Huracan, made his own, taking inspiration from the likes of the 2006 Concept S and one-off Aventador J. A number of other modifications have been made to this Huracan. For example, it features a bodykit from Vorsteiner that comes complete with heaps of forged carbon fiber panels. It also has a special Fi exhaust system that lets the 5.2-liter V10 engine really sing. Speaking of the 5.2-liter V10, it has been given some extra oomph thanks to a supercharger, meaning it now delivers 840 hp. Fryer also isn’t afraid of pushing the car to its limits, as he demonstrated when he recently brought it out to Hoonigan’s drift yard in Los Angeles. Unlike most other Huracans, this one sends its power exclusively through the rear wheels, meaning it doubles as quite a good drift car.

650HP K20 Powered Wolf (FASTEST car at '21 PPIHC) vs 2020 Lamborghini Huracán EVO // This vs That Oct 25, 2021 Hoonigan We brought out the FASTEST car at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2021 to see what it would do on our little drag strip! Robin Shute's team took a production Wolf GB08 and turned it into an absolute monster simply by dropping in a fully built 650hp Honda K20 in it. There's obviously a little more to it than that but you get the idea. With a little scumbag science we decided that a brand new Lamborghini Huracán EVO was the best potential match up for it. It might weigh more and make a little less power but that doesn't change the fact that it does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and tops out at just over 200mph. Enjoy!
Pikes Peak Racer Shows Off Against Lamborghini Huracan Evo NOVEMBER 4, 2021 The Lamborghini Huracan Evo is very fast but the owner of this example was in for a rude awakening when he tried to race it against the car that stormed up this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb faster than any other. The insane race car in question is the Wolf GB08 TSC-LT. It competed in the Unlimited class at Pikes Peak and with racer Robin Shute behind the wheel, set a blistering time of 5:55.246 (snow forced organizers to move the finish line down the mountain, hence the ID.R-beating time). Powering the Wolf is a Honda-sourced K20 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that has been turbocharged and pumps out 650 hp. Making the racer all the more impressive is the fact that it weighs just 1,300 lbs (590 kg). Meanwhile the Huracan Evo features an naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 with 640 hp and despite having the advantage of all-wheel drive, it has no hope against the Wolf in a drag race from a standing start. To give the raging bull a chance, the guys from Hoonigan allowed the Huracan to get a rolling start from around 15 mph (24 km/h) while the Wolf driver had to launch the car off the line. This results in a very close race, so much so that the Lamborghini only managed to finish just a couple of feet ahead of the Wolf, despite the driver of the K20-powered weapon getting a poor launch.
