Aunque Ewan no se pasó al lado oscuro de la fuerza, su Porsche 911 de pintura negra sobre negra parece pertenecer más a su discípulo que al propio maestro pero, si vives en California y te sobran más de 82,000$… que la fuerza te acompañe. El Porsche 911 Targa 2.4 (72-73) Originalmente vendido en 1972, este Porsche 911T Targa venía de fábrica con un motor plano de seis cilindros y 2.4 litros con inyección de combustible mecánica Bosch. La potencia se transmitía a las ruedas traseras a través de una transmisión manual de cinco velocidades, e incluso cuenta con las queridas llantas Fuchs. El Porsche 911T Targa, junto con su hermano coupé, continuó siendo una variante de nivel de entrada del 911 para 1972 y 1973. The car is finished in black over black leatherette and Pepita fabric and is powered by a 2.4-liter flat-six linked with a five-speed 915 manual transaxle. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, a 911S-style front spoiler, staggered-width 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a driver’s sport seat, and air conditioning. Work under current ownership has involved installing a timing chain update kit and a Porsche Classic radio, along with performing a valve adjustment, resealing the transmission, and replacing the clutch, flywheel, shifter bushings, various engine oil seals, and ignition components. This 911T Targa is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate, the owner’s manual, service records from current ownership, spare parts, and a clean California title in the owner’s name. The car is finished in black and features a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, a 911S-style front spoiler, front and rear bumper guards, a right-quarter panel oil filler, and a driver-side mirror. The left front fender was repainted some time ago, and the seller also believes that the hood and right front fender may have been refinished as well. The antenna has been relocated to the right front fender. Rock chips are noted on the front end, and additional blemishes are shown up close in the gallery. The staggered-width 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The car was factory equipped with ventilated discs at all four corners. The rear shocks were replaced in 2020. The left sport seat and right bucket seat are trimmed in black leatherette with Pepita fabric, and the fold-down rear seats are trimmed in black. A Porsche Classic head unit with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and satellite radio was installed in 2021 along with replacement speakers. USB charging ports have been added below the dash, and the car came optioned from the factory with air conditioning. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 38k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer was repaired in 2020, and true mileage is unknown. The 2.4-liter flat-six was factory equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and is linked with a five-speed manual transaxle. The transaxle was resealed and the clutch and flywheel replaced in 2020. Additional work that year included performing a valve adjustment and replacing the shifter and pedal bushings as well as the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, valve cover gaskets, oil cooler seals, and front oil hoses. A timing chain update kit and replacement guides were installed in 2021, at which time the oil return tubes and camshaft housing gaskets were replaced.
