Well the chance of rain didn't scare people off today. We had a great turnout with 15 5s, 7s, and a midget 4-door. The roads were a tad damp, but no rain plagued our day.

Matt showing off his newly installed water pump. His car may have been clean on the outside, but just look at that engine.... filthy
Dan Loyola's new M5. What a beautiful car!
After a lot of chatting, we decided to get some tech talk in. Here's the GPS antenna on Steve Larimer's 745Li
These little pop latches come standard on E38s. They lift the trunk so the soft close feature doesn't pull the trunk down when opened remotely. These can be retro fitted on an E39 for both the trunk and hood for under $10 each (2 for the hood and 2 for the trunk)

James' modified 98' 740il. Probably the fasted M62 there. All he has left is a super charger and 6 speed manual conversion.

James's newly installed electric fan. Don't worry... the duct tape and wires will be cleaned up once it's fully wired and working.

After talking and coffee, we headed out for lunch. From Issaquah, we took Old Issaquah-Fall City rd to Fall city. Then down 202 to Tolt Hill rd to cross over to 203 and end up in Carnation.

With front row parking at the Xtapa Mexican Restaurant, we had to take a few more pictures.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our second tech session of the day began after lunch. Here's Steve showing everyone the luxury seats in his new car. The new E66 really does have the best blend of luxury and performance.
James' audio system. Not quite an artistic statement, but very effective.
What's this.... Well, at least it has 4 doors.

James and Darrin going over the size difference between their two cars (740il and M3)
Across the street was a small musium that just happened to contain this beauty.
Matt gathering the troops to prepare for the next drive
From Carnation, we headed North on 203 to Stillwater where we turned on Kelly road to wrap us up to Duvall. Once there we continued on the back roads all the way up to Maltby.

Our final stop of the day was a Shell station on the edge of Paradise Lake Rd. We snapped a few pictures and then all headed our own ways home.
