Upgrading our G80 M3 with Fall-Line - Strut Brace + Oil Cooler Guard As soon as BMW showed off the new G8x M3/M4 people were pretty quick to criticise a few things (not just the front bumper!) and one of those was the strut braces in the engine bay. And with good reason - the F8x M3/M4 came with a gorgeous carbon fibre brace that set off the engine bay. The G8x M3/M4 in comparison comes with some metal braces that aren't even finished particularly nicely. Enter Fall-Line Motorsports and their beautifully machined and anodised strut braces that much better suit the premium nature of a BMW M car. Along side this we also fitted one of their Oil Cooler Guards, a cleverly designed product that helps to protect the exposed oil cooler on the bottom of the vehicle, something that could be key on a lowered car to protect the cooler from damage and possible oil leaks.

Esas son las llantas de serie 18" delante/ 19" detrás no?

A mi por disenio son las que más me gustan....pero de pillarlo me daría rabia que en esas medidas te pierdes las Michelin PS4S* y solo hay como opción Continental y Yokohama.....con esas montas no he podido probar el G8x....pero supongo que no va tan bien como con las 19"/20"

 

Si, para mi gusto son las que mejor le quedan estéticamente, y en esta combinación de colores es toda una preciosidad... me gusta bastante más que el M4.

Hay dos formas principales de mejorar el aspecto del nuevo BMW M4 . La primera es eliminar por completo las controvertidas rejillas de riñón y la segunda forma es dejarlas intactas pero distraerlo con otras mejoras exteriores. Eso es exactamente lo que hace este M4.

Creado por Studie AG y presentado en el Salón del Automóvil de Tokio, este M4 ha sufrido una serie de cambios tanto en su exterior como en su interior que realmente lo hacen destacar.

Lo primero que realmente llama la atención es el exterior de color naranja brillante, aunque no está claro si es una envoltura o ha sido pintado de este color. Cualquiera que sea el caso, el color nos recuerda el naranja que hizo famoso el BMW M3 GTS de la generación E92 y desvía la atención de las parrillas en forma de riñón en negro brillante.

Por otra parte, Studie AG ha equipado el M3 GTS con un juego de ruedas de cinco radios del mercado de accesorios que se adaptan muy bien al automóvil deportivo alemán. También se han aplicado varias rayas negras en el exterior, mientras que en la parte trasera se encuentra un alerón imponente que se puede ajustar para cambiar su ángulo de ataque.

El interior ha sufrido incluso más modificaciones que el exterior. Ocupando un lugar privilegiado en la cabina están los llamativos asientos Recaro con respaldo naranja y acolchado de cuero negro. El automóvil también cuenta con arneses tanto para el conductor como para el pasajero y ha sido equipado con exclusivos tapetes naranjas y negros. El M4 también luce una nueva palanca de cambios corta, mientras que se ha instalado una jaula antivuelco naranja en la parte trasera.

There are two main ways to improve the looks of the new BMW M4. The first is to remove the controversial kidney grilles entirely and the second way is to leave them untouched but distract you with various other exterior upgrades. That’s exactly what this M4 does.

Created by Studie AG and unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon, this M4 has undergone a series of changes to both its exterior and interior that really make it stand out.

The first thing that really stands out is the bright orange exterior, although it is unclear if it is a wrap or has been painted this color. Whatever the case may be, the color reminds us of the orange made famous by the E92-generation BMW M3 GTS and draws your attention away from the gloss black kidney grilles.

Elsewhere, Studie AG has equipped the M3 GTS with a set of aftermarket five-spoke wheels that suit the German sports car nicely. Various black pinstripes have also been applied across the exterior while found at the rear is a towering wing that can be tweaked to change its angle of attack.

The interior has undergone even more modifications than the exterior. Taking pride of place in the cabin are striking Recaro seats with orange backs and black leather padding. The car also features harnesses for both the driver and passenger and has been equipped with unique orange and black floor mats. The M4 also sports a new short shifter while an orange roll cage has been fitted in the rear.

El nuevo G82 mejor conocidos como el M4, en este caso en su modelo Competition, son los nuevos representantes de la marca alemana BMW para su modelo más emblemático, para esta nueva versión llegaron muchas actualizaciones y cambios entre los cuales el mas notable es el nuevo motor así como el nuevo diseño, hoy vamos a probar a este cohete con su motor S58 y vamos a descubrir si de verdad es un buen sucesor para el el F82 o si BMW cometió un error agregándole mas potencia y cambiando el diseño por uno....digamos un poco radical.

Es casi imposible mencionar el BMW M3 y el BMW M4 sin mencionar su parrilla masiva y controvertida. A algunos fanáticos no les molesta (de ahí las cifras de ventas récord ), pero algunos realmente no lo soportan. Para aquellos en el último grupo, Vorsteiner tiene un nuevo kit aerodinámico que incluye una reparación menor para la enorme parrilla en forma de riñón del M3.


Ahora ofrecido por PSI, este nuevo kit Vorsteiner consta de tres componentes principales; el alerón delantero de fibra de carbono VRS Aero, el alerón trasero de fibra de carbono VRS Aero y la rejilla delantera de fibra de carbono VRS Aero/parrilla delantera VRS Aero ABS. La tapa de la cajuela y los alerones delanteros son elementos aerodinámicos bastante típicos, que agregan algo más de agresividad y tal vez algo más de carga aerodinámica. Sin embargo, la nueva parrilla, disponible en fibra de carbono o plástico ABS, es interesante.



El intento de Vorsteiner de arreglar la parrilla es más sutil de lo que hemos visto en compañías como Evolve . En lugar de hacer la parrilla más pequeña y agregar un nuevo parachoques delantero para compensarlo, Vorsteiner mantiene el tamaño de la parrilla pero cambia las partes internas para engañar al ojo y hacer que vea una parrilla BMW más pequeña y normal.



La nueva parrilla Vorsteiner es de una sola pieza pero visualmente dividida en dos secciones; y superior y inferior. Esas secciones están divididas en dos por una gran barra horizontal, que parece una barra de parachoques en la que normalmente colocarías una placa. Eso no solo divide la parrilla; lo que disminuye el impacto visual de su tamaño, pero también le da al auto un lugar más sensible para colocar dicha placa. También deja la sección inferior de la parrilla vacía, libre de listones, lo que hace que parezca más una toma de aire del parachoques delantero que una parrilla. La sección superior solo tiene un listón de rejilla horizontal, lo cual es un poco inusual, pero funciona lo suficientemente bien.




Vista aquí en el proyecto BMW M3 Competition de PSI, la nueva parrilla se ve mucho mejor que la parrilla del automóvil estándar, ya que parece un poco más integrada en la parte delantera del automóvil. Si estuviera comprando un nuevo M3, esta parrilla Vorsteiner sería una de las pocas modificaciones que hice de inmediato.
