BMW Serie 4 2024 BMW actualiza las versiones cupé y descapotable del Serie 4 de la generación que comenzó a comercializar en junio de 2020 (información del Serie 4 Coupé 2021 e información del Serie 4 Cabrio 2021). Los cambios son de diseño (pocos) y de equipamiento. Estará disponible a partir de marzo de 2024. Estos son los precios del BMW Serie 4 Coupé 2024 y estos otros, los precios del Serie 4 Cabrio 2024. Un 420i Coupé 2024 cuesta 1500 € más que uno de 2021, pero la diferencia de precio en el caso del M440i xDrive es muy superior, de más de 5000 euros (ficha comparativa). Algunas alternativas al BMW Serie 4 Coupé son el Audi A5 Coupé, el Ford Mustang, el Lexus LC o el Mercedes-Benz CLE. Las de la versión descapotable son el Audi A5 Cabrio, el Ford Mustang Cabrio o el Lexus LC. La oferta inicial de motores es más abundante para el Serie 4 Coupé que para el Serie 4 Cabrio. Este último se puede elegir con tres motores de gasolina —versiones 420i (184 CV), 430i xDrive (285 CV) y M440i xDrive (374 CV)— y uno Diesel —versión 420d (190 CV)—. Para el Serie 4 Cupé también está disponible la versión Diesel 430d xDrive (286 CV) y M440d xDrive (340 CV). Además, existe para ambos la versión deportiva M4 cuya información está en este otro artículo. El cambio es siempre automático (de convertidor de par) con ocho relaciones y levas en el volante. Las versiones xDrive tienen tracción total, el resto son trasera. Como ocurría ya con el modelo 2021, a las versiones con motor de seis cilindros en línea (440i, 430d y 440d), además de a la 420d, les corresponde la etiqueta Eco de la DGT porque cuentan con un sistema de hibridación ligera. Un motor eléctrico de 11 CV alimentado por una red eléctrica de 48 V (con su propia batería) apoya al motor de combustión principalmente en las fases de arranque y aceleración. El consumo homologado es mayor que antes. Varios ejemplos: la versión 420d pasa de 4,6 a 4,8 l/100 km, la 430d xDrive de 5,2 a 5,5 l/100 km, la M440d xDrive de 5,7 a 6,1 l/100 km y la M440i xDrive de 7,5 a 7,8 l/100 km). Las versiones M440i xDrive y M440d xDrive forman parte de la gama M Performance. Ambas cuentan con el tren de rodaje, los frenos y el diferencial M Sport. ¿Qué cambia respecto al modelo 2021? A simple vista es más sencillo identificar al Serie 4 Coupe y Serie 4 Cabrio 2024 por dentro que por fuera porque lo único diferente en la carrocería es el diseño interior de los faros y los nuevos colores —rojo fuego metalizado y verde cabo York metalizado—. Para las versiones M440 hay una nueva rejilla de la parrilla y los retrovisores son los del M4. Con el paquete M Sport las salidas de escape aumentan su diámetro (100 mm en vez de 90 mm) y el elemento inferior del difusor trasero es de color negro brillante, color que también se emplea en los elementos decorativos del paragolpes delantero que antes eran grises. En el habitáculo BMW ha instalado la doble pantalla bajo una cubierta curva (BMW Curved Display) y nuevos volantes —de dos radios el de serie y de tres el del paquete M Sport—, todo ello rodeado por un nuevo salpicadero (el del BMW Serie 4 cupé y cabio 2021 era así). La palanca de cambio ha sido sustituida por un selector pequeño ya visto en otros modelos de BMW. El sistema operativo del equipo multimedia es la versión 8.5. Ofrece una nueva presentación en la que el mapa ocupa gran parte de la pantalla y en la zona inferior hay una barra con diversos iconos que dan acceso a funciones o menús (como si fuera el escritorio de un ordenador). Equipamiento Si se adquiere el sistema BMW Live Cockpit Professional reemplazando al de serie BMW Live Cockpit Plus, se cuenta con una función de realidad aumentada para la navegación. En la pantalla del cuadro de instrumentos o en la otra se muestra la imagen captada por una cámara sobre la que se superponen indicaciones. Con este equipamiento opcional también se añade el sistema de proyección de información sobre el parabrisas. Mediante la aplicación para móviles My BMW el conductor puede controlar y consultar información de su Serie 4. También puede enviar direcciones al sistema de navegación o usar el móvil como llave de acceso. Además de la tarjeta SIM del coche (la que se utiliza para la comunicación de este con BMW o los servicios de emergencia) hay una eSIM (es una tarjeta de móvil virtual) que el propietario puede dar de alta y emplear con el contrato de su propia compañía (por ejemplo, para tener wifi en el coche). Los faros led de serie se pueden sustituir por unos con alumbrado matricial. Si además se monta el paquete M Sport Pro, los faros son los llamados M Shadowline, que tienen detalles oscuros. Adicionalmente, si el Serie 4 está equipado con el sistema de acceso sin llave, los faros hacen una secuencia de bienvenida cuando detectan el mando a menos de tres metros del coche. Con los faros matriciales, los pilotos cuentan tecnología láser: «cada uno de los diodos láser ilumina un haz de fibra óptica, dotando a las unidades traseras de un intrincado gráfico luminoso». La iluminación ambiental cubre ahora las zonas anteriores — huecos para los pies, del compartimento portaobjetos en la parte delantera de la consola central y de las manecillas de las puertas— y también el contorno de las nuevas salidas de ventilación del centro del salpicadero. La iluminación ambiental también se emplea para proporcionar información (BMW cita como ejemplos para avisar de una puerta mal cerrada o de una llamada telefónica). La tapicería de serie es del material sintético Sensatec perforada. Además, se puede elegir entre dos cueros: Vernasca y Merino. Existe una cuarta opción de revestimiento, que BMW llama M Performtex negro, un terciopelo que debuta en este modelo y que, según BMW, su fabricación genera menos emisiones de CO2. Hay nuevas molduras interiores, grafito oscuro mate (de serie), aluminio antracita (paquete M Sport) o madera y fibra de carbono (opciones). La palanca del cambio, el mando del iDrive y el botón de arranque se pueden pedir acabadas en cristal transparente. Las versiones de M Performance pueden tener —hay que montar el paquete M Carbon— algunas piezas de la carrocería de plástico reforzado con fibra de carbono (retrovisores y tomas de aire) o de carbono (alerón y difusor traseros). BMW M4 Coupé y M4 Cabrio (2024) BMW lanza los M4 Competition Coupé y Cabrio 2024. Respecto a los modelos anteriores (información del M4 Competition Coupé 2021 e información del BMW M4 Competition Cabrio 2021) hay cambios de aspecto, de equipamiento y la potencia pasa a ser de 530 caballos. El precio de partida es de 126 250 euros con carrocería cupé (todos los precios) y de 136 430 con la descapotable (precio). A pesar del incremento de potencia, las prestaciones de los M4 Competition xDrive 2024 son las mismas que las del modelo saliente, también con tracción total (ficha comparativa). Como ya ocurría en el modelo anterior, la versión Coupé está disponible con tracción trasera y total, mientras que la descapotable tiene únicamente tracción total (xDrive). La alternativa más clara al M4 Competition xDrive Coupé es el Audi RS 5 Coupé Competition Plus TFSI quattro, aunque tiene 450 caballos (ficha comparativa). De este Audi no existe una versión descapotable, por lo que los rivales del M4 pueden ser modelos como el Ford Mustang Convertible (aunque es mucho más barato) o el Lexus LC Cabrio (que tiene una orientación menos deportiva y más lujosa). En el exterior los únicos cambios son el diseño interior de los faros (imagen) y de los pilotos (imagen), que ahora tienen diodos láser que iluminan un haz de fibra óptica (una solución que ya tenía el M4 CSL anterior). En el interior los cambios son mucho más profundos y son los mismos que en el resto de la Serie 4 de la gama 2024. En lugar de haber una pantalla diferenciada para la instrumentación y otra para el sistema multimedia, BMW ha puesto ambas (la de la instrumentación de 12,3 pulgadas y la central de 14,9 unidas) bajo una cubierta de forma curva curva (BMW Curved Display, imagen). El sistema operativo del equipo multimedia es la versión 8.5. Los mandos físicos del sistema de climatización ya no existen y han pasado a ser iconos táctiles que se controlan desde la pantalla central. También cambian las salidas de ventilación. A diferencia de lo que ocurre en el resto de los Serie 4 de la gama 2024, en los M4 se mantiene una palanca de grandes dimensiones para elegir las distintas posiciones del cambio de marchas automático. El volante también es nuevo y ahora tiene la parte inferior achatada.
Hola! Veo que estáis comparando el modelo con el anterior al restyling que se hizo no have mucho, allá por Junio. Yo tengo este modelo, ya con la curved display y los cambios son menores, muchos menos de los que estás contando aquí, que ya son pocos... heheh No se han esforzado mucho en restyling, la verdad Sl2
Entiendo que los huecos para los faros delanteros y traseros serán los mismos por lo que, con simplemente cambiarlos, ya tienes el LCI. Bajo mi punto de vista porque, el resto de cambios estéticos exteriores son practicante nulos. Seguramente sacarán un kit de recambio de los faros, como hicieron, por ejemplo, con el Z4 e89. Por cierto, me gustan los faros delanteros del modelo pre-LCI pero los del nuevo, me gustan mucho también. Los traseros del LCI creo que son más guapos que los del pre-LCI. Resumiendo: Delanteros. Por igual Traseros: Me gustan más los nuevos.
Pues si vas solo y tienes q estar 30 minutos cargando el coche, en lugar de ver algo en el móvil y dejarte los ojos, pues lo ves en la pantalla del coche. Si llevas niños puedes ponerles algo para q se distraigan mientras esperas. Está claro q si llevas un iPad, está solucionado. Todo tiene alternativas pero si en ese momento no llevas nada…
Dice realidad aumentada con el ID8.5. O han cambiado algo del hardware o no tiene. En el mío en la descripción venía y no tiene.

Es verdad, tú llevas 8 y la tienes. Es algo q no me acuerdo como se llama. MGUH o no se q. Yo llevo la 12 y se necesita la 14 ó algo así. En el tuyo posiblemente se puso ya, y es compatible con el 9 y así no cambiar luego eso. En el i4 lo hicieron con los restos de tecnología. Algo explico @tirant, q por cierto, lo cito xq hace mucho, mucho q no le veo por aquí y llevo un tiempo pensando en preguntar por él.
Bueno, vamos con otra. Sales de casa corriendo y te dejas el tlf. Si tienes activada la eSim, puedes llamar desde el coche perfectamente xq es como si tuvieras el tlf integrado. Nunca te olvidas del tlf pero llevas 2 horas viajando y no llevas carga inalámbrica, ni cable para cargar. Te queda un 5% de batería y no quieres quedarte seco por si acaso. Apagas el tlf y puedes seguir localizado xq con la eSim tienes integrado tu tlf en el coche. Nada es imprescindible, hace años nos apañábamos sin teléfono móvil. Íbamos a una cabina y llamabas a tus amigos si no estás en casa, pero si ahora tienes ciertas ventajas… pues las puedes utilizar por muy de viejas costumbres q seas.

Me cito para medio contestarme. Los i4 de ahora y el iX llevan ya la misma Head Unit, ya no llevan la MGU21 (HU-H4), si no la H5 (MGU22). Las cámaras sí son diferentes, pero son irrelevantes salvo para la realidad aumentada. Y algo sobre el SP21, el i4 sigue con SP18. No sé muy bien todo esto xq se me escapa. El tuyo lleva SP21 como lleva el iX y el nuevo serie 4 me imagino q también. Vamos, q tengo un coche antiguo por todos los lados con un mes.
Ea, pues....Yo lo que pasa es que si uso esa excusa para cambiarlo...con mi doña no colaría, no se creería ni lo de la eSIM Castillos, ni la carencia de MGU ni ná de ná...

Ojito al curioso volante básico (0 euros) en el configurador: al menos en Alemania optar por el volante M solo se puede si se coge el paquete M completo.
