BMW M2 CS faster at Sachsenring than 911 Carerra S, AMG GT S, 718 Cayman GTS and R8 V10 November 9th, 2019 The Auto Bild December 2019 edition will feature a track test with the new BMW M2 CS at the Sachsenring in Hohenstein-Ernstthal, Germany. The test was performed way ahead of the official press drives, so it remains unclear whether the BMW M2 CS was a final production car or pre-production. What we do know is that it featured the six-speed manual transmission and the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. And the recorded times are quite interesting. Let’s start with the BMW M2 CS time as published by Auto Bild – 1:34.98 – which is just a bit over half a second faster than the M2 Competition on the same track. The M2 CS was weighed also and came in at 1532 kilograms. The standard sprint 0-100 km/h was timed at 4.3 seconds (BMW says the sprint should take 4.2 sec) while the 0-200 km/h at 13.6 seconds. A look at the FastestLaps website shows that the BMW M2 CS is faster than the Porsche 911 Carrera S (1:35.19), Mercedes-AMG GT S (1:35.25), 718 Cayman GTS (1:35.35) and the Audi R8 V10 (1:35.64). Just slightly faster than the BMW M2 CS we have the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Under the hood of the BMW M2 CS lies a modified version of the same S55 engine that powers the M2 Competition. In fact, it’s actually a similar variant of that engine that powered the M4 Competition Package. That means it’s a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged I6 engine with 450 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. The BMW M2 CS will have a limited run with just 2,200 units planned globally.

Yo puse los datos de ambos que da km77, suele ser el peso con líquidos y el que pones puede que sea en seco. Puse el peso del M2 CS con cambio manual, el automático son 25 kg más.
No, el M4 CS entrega 460cv 600Nm. No se porque no lo han empleado... ...a no ser que venga algo más después... ...
O que no quieran que salten más tornillos de la cuenta Los numeros que recuerdo del M2C son 1550 kg el manual y 1532 el CS como se ha puesto, el techo son sobre 5kg menos, el capó 4,5 y la consola central 2,7 , eso hacen unos 12 a los que habría que sumar los del aire. Así que sí pueden ser solo unos 18kg menos que el M2C.
el famoso tornillo es lo que me ha frenado a descapar mi motor , que se nota que va capado . pero si el M2 cs no se le ha reforzado lo del tornillo, imagino que BMW tendra la seguridad que con esos 451 no va a petar a no ser que hagas mucho el cafre
