Selezione Lamborghini Is The Brand’s Certified Pre-Owned Sales Program

Lamborghini has launched a certification program
for used carssold through their dealer and service center networks worldwide, called the Selezione Lamborghini Certified Pre-Owned.
Every car sold through this program needs to meet some rigid criteria. The supercars, for the example, need to have less than 70,000 km (43,500 miles) on the clock and to be newer than 84 months (7 years). The program includes the
recently-launched Urus SUV as well, and this one needs to be newer than 120 months (10 years) and have under 100,000 km (62,000 miles) on the odo.
Furthermore, each vehicle needs to have undergone the
regular scheduled maintenance as directed by the brand’s service schedules. If it qualifies, then Lamborghini’s technicians will subject it to a comprehensive list of 150 checks. It’s here that the exterior and interior features, mechanics, electronics, brakes, rims and tires will be rigorously tested, and more tests will be performed right before the pre-owned car changes hands.

“In line with our growing production volumes, an increasing number of clients are deciding to buy into the Lamborghini marque, both new and
pre-owned models. Today, Lamborghini is recognized as a benchmark in the segment in terms of quality and exclusivity”, said CCO Federico Foschini. “The purpose of Selezione Lamborghini is to now make these standards available for those who want to take the first significant step into the Lamborghini world with the purchase of a pre-owned Lamborghini.”
All cars sold through this new program will be offered with a minimum 12-month warranty, which can be extended up to 24 months. In comparison, new Lamborghinis are sold with a 3-year warranty, which can be extended up to 5 years at the moment of purchase. Beyond this point, additional warranty extension and maintenance option will be offered through Lamborghini Selezione.
The program has already been launched and will expand to selected global markets throughout 2019.
