A partir de mañana ya se pueden reservar los model3 chinos! parece que de momento solo en China

 

Precisamente Get Smart dijo que seeking alpha es bien, luego no puede estar más que bien esa recomendación.

 

Yo esto lo veo como una manera de conseguir algo de dinero extra de cara a este trimestre.
Ya se ha visto que reservar no te aporta mucha ventaja y que el coche lo tienes casi al mismo tiempo que los que reservaron.

 

Seguramente.

Hay medios que estiman que el nuevo model3 les costará a los chinos $ 10 000 menos que el actual. Yo la verdad esperaba más ahorro. Mañana lo sabremos.

Eso se ha visto donde. No estarás generalizando a partir del único caso de Arpem empresa dedicada al mundo del motor ??

Eso de hecho sentó fatal a los primeros reservistas, que priorizaran entregas a los vips, cero preferencia por haberlo pedido hace un año o dos. A esa gente se los están entregando ahora en mayo. Y así tras el boom de matriculaciones en marzo descenso en abril llegará un nuevo boom en mayo. Es una pena que a los europeos_no_noruegos nos traten tan mal, pero hay que entender que hoy día somos un mercado secundario. No se puede valorar a una compañía por cómo vende en un paisito como España, parfavar.

Pero que oye es muy posible que me equivoque, si conoces algún caso de un particular que pidió en enero y le fue entregado en febrero, me encantaría saberlo. Pago bien

Ayyyy, lo que me está tentando abrir cortos en Tesla y esperar con el cesto bien abajo.

 

Un compi tiene desde hace medio anio posiciones en corto....pero yo no me meto en esos berenjenales...soy un inversor a plazo no largo, larguisimo.

 

Pues ya sabes, deshazte de todo lo electronico, y cualquier cosa manufacturada por la industria que te proporcione bienestar si tanto te preocupel tema. Ah no, que eso no mola tanto eh? Voy a criticar los coches como me dicen en la tele pero desde mi casa a todo confort que ahi no me importa tanto que suba unos gradillos la temperatura del planeta.

Tesla no es precisamente una accion que yo recomendaria a un particular para ponerse corto.... (aunque sobren/asen motivos para hacerlo)

Cotiza en otra divisa (riesgo divisa), en otro huso horario (cenar controlando el cierre de US no es precisamente lo mejor para la conciliacion familiar...), tiene mas beta que el mercado (menor tamaño de posicion y mas "curvas") y para colmo tiene un CEO que esta "ligeramente desequilibrado" (por decirlo suavemente) y que puede poner un tuit a las 3 de la mañana puesto de jumilla de cualquier ensoñacion que le ronde la cabeza y abrirte un hueco en la cotización del 20% (con lo que le gustan los huecos a los brokers...), y una guerra de manos fuertes tanto largos como cortos manipulando constantemente las noticias y el precio.

Vamos que para la tipica operacion de minorista todo o nada (venta, stop loss y take profit sin gestion del riesgo ni de la posicion, y en segun que casos hasta apalancado) no lo veo, salvo que se quiera sufrir; y mucho (nada duele mas en esta vida que hacerlo todo bien...y morir por el timing o por factores exogenos antes de tener razon)

 

Totalmente de acuerdo, por eso estoy más quieto que un gato de escayola con Tesla.
Porsche en cambio siempre me ha gustado, pero ahora mismo hay una incertidumbre que no me invita a mover nada. Salvo casos 'dieselgate' o similares, no es de las que pega los fuertes bandazos que un Musk puede provocar con un solo 'tuit' mientras uno duerme.

 

Porsche es una buena opcion.... para un long short con Tesla armando la operacion con tiempo, ahora bien, con respecto a los bandazos, creo que Adolf Merckle (como daño colateral de Porsche) no estaria muy de acuerdo con tu afirmación (con todos mis respetos ojo).

El problema de ir haciendose mayor...es la amplitud de lo visto

Manager Magazin wrote yesterday that VW Group CEO Herbert Diess wanted to buy shares in the U.S. EV manufacturer in order to gain access to its software and battery technology.

The publication also claimed Diess meets with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on a regular basis and that the latter had so far rejected VW’s efforts to form an alliance.


“The speculation about buying a stake in Tesla made by Manager Magazin is without merit,” a Volkswagen spokesman told Reuters. The magazine, however, quoted an unidentified top Volkswagen manager as saying that “Diess would go in right away if he could.” According to the report, acquiring a stake would allow the German carmaker to access Tesla’s technological expertise.

Such a deal, though, could meet opposition from Volkswagen’s controlling Piech and Porsche families when it comes to funding the stake purchase.

Currently, Tesla is valued at around $30 billion (approximately €27 billion), which makes it too pricey even for a giant like Volkswagen. The German company currently faces numerous Dieselgate-related fines and lawsuits, as well as massive investments in the development and production of electric vehicles, so investing that kind of money would stretch its finances too much.

A banker close to VW allegedly told Manager Magazin that Diess would love to have Tesla’s software developers, but admits it was almost impossible to justify buying the whole company.

A major automaker holding a stake in Tesla would not be something new. Over the years, the U.S. EV specialist was partly owned by Toyota and Daimler. Both automakers eventually sold their stakes after Musk’s company went public and the stock’s value increased significantly.

Volkswagen not interested in buying Tesla stake

BERLIN (Reuters) - Volkswagen (VOWG_p.DE) said on Thursday it was not interested in taking a stake in Tesla (TSLA.O), denying a media report that CEO Herbert Diess wanted to buy shares in the U.S. company to access its software and batteries technology.

“The speculation about buying a stake in Tesla made by Manager Magazin is without merit,” a Volkswagen spokesman said in a written statement to Reuters.

Manager Magazin had said Diess meets with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on a regular basis because of the U.S. carmaker’s expertise in software and battery cell design, and that Tesla had so far rebuffed Volkswagen’s efforts at striking an alliance.


“Diess would go in right away if he could,” the magazine quoted an unidentified top Volkswagen manager as saying.

Acquiring a stake would be enough for the German carmaker to access Tesla’s technological expertise, the report said.

An obstacle, however, would be to get the consent of Volkswagen’s controlling Piech and Porsche families to fund the stake purchase, the magazine added.


A banker close to Volkswagen said that while Diess would love to have Tesla’s software developers, the CEO believed it was almost impossible to justify paying $30 billion (27 billion euros) to buy the whole company.

Tesla’s shares pared pre-market gains following Volkswagen’s denial of the magazine report. At 1335 GMT, they were up 1.3% at $223.60, while Volkswagen’s shares were up 1.2% at 144.36 euros.

Singapore has a message for Elon Musk: Taking mass transit is a better climate-change solution than tooling around in one of his Tesla Inc.’s electric vehicles.



The city-state, which has said its efforts to cope with climate change are as crucial as military defense, has prioritized greater use of its trains and buses, Masagos Zulkifli, minister for environment and water resources, said in an interview Wednesday. Musk has criticized the country for being slow to adopt EVs and said in a January tweet the government “has been unwelcome.”



“What Elon Musk wants to produce is a lifestyle,” Zulkifli said Wednesday when asked about the entrepreneur’s comments. “We are not interested in a lifestyle. We are interested in proper solutions that will address climate problems.”



Tesla didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.



The low-lying island nation faces an existential threat from the impacts of climate change and the country’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in a national address Sunday it could cost more than S$100 billion ($72 billion) over the next century to protect it from rising sea levels, hotter temperatures and more intense rainfall.

Singapore’s trains and buses cover much of the island’s 720 square kilometers (280 square miles) with the newest subway routes featuring driverless carriages and several of the most-popular bus routes traversed by double-decker carriers. The country, with a population of about 6 million, is aiming to enhance mass transit options so that by 2040 any trip within the country will take no longer than 45 minutes.


Even though Singapore is focused on public transport, the nation is still uniquely positioned to transition to plug-ins, according to Zulkifli. That’s because the state controls car ownership licenses, which it gives out on a 10-year basis and could be used as an instrument of change, he said in the interview.

“If there’s any country which can convert from petrol cars to 100% EVs, it will be Singapore,” he said. But, he added, it would be difficult to develop adequate charging stations with 85% of the population living in high-density, government-supported housing.

“Just choosing a parking spot is already problematic,” Zulkifli said. “And now you want to say who gets the charging point. We do not have the solution yet.”

Singapore received its first charging point at a retail fuel station earlier this month, according to Royal Dutch Shell Plc, which plans to open nine more by October. The company commissioned a study that showed about 52% of Singaporeans are deterred from buying an electric car because they think there aren’t enough places to plug in.

In Zulkifli’s estimation, hydrogen is a better long-term solution than electric vehicles for decarbonizing transportation, in part because of the carbon footprint from mining the metals needed to produce car batteries and the issues around their eventual disposal.

No te tires un jodido pedo más en tu vida. Tu huella ambiental se dispara con el simple subproducto de tu digestión que, total, sólo te sirve a ti para seguir vivo.

La mentalidad progre lo reduce todo al “debería prohibirse”. No ofrece soluciones, ofrece sueños y buenas ideas de un mundo feliz.

¿Para qué generar electricidad quemando gas si puedes recargar tu coche eléctrico colocando unas placas solares aunque vivas en un estudio con vistas a un patio en Tromso...? ¿Quién no dispone en su vivienda de superficie suficiente para instalar autoconsumo? Si total, el coche eléctrico no sabe de dónde le llega la energía, ¡él solo emite buen rollo a la atmósfera!

Aunque tesla en boca de todos ya no tiene gracia. Os imagináis que bmw se fusiona en pocos pocos años? Ese sí que es un tema.

Volkswagen aunque, si buscais, vereis que hay muchos artículos de opinión que dicen que alguien tiene que comprarla. Yo no lo veo. De hecho no entiendo qué tiene Tesla que VW no sepa fabricar, pero....

¿VW al final? Bueno, de momento es un rumor, yo estaba casi convencido de que la compraría BMW. Ya se verá.

 

Pero es que no entiendo qué tiene que no sea el valor marca. Para chupar qué tecnología??? LA de los motores?? La de las baterías???

 

Todo, compra tecnología, plantas, "imagen de marca para fanboys"... etc.

 

Tesla se va a pegar un batacazo en ventas en cuanto salga el Taycan a poco que sea competitivo en precio. Para comprarla mas barata yo esperaría.
