Will.I.Am Drives a Ridiculous $900,000 Custom 1958 VW Beetle
When he’s not trying to fool the world he’s set to start his own car company, Will.I.Am can bee seen driving something that goes beyond ridiculous. The thing you see here started out in life as a1958 VW Beetle, but the producer reportedly invested $900,000 (EUR665,000) to transform it.
It seems that the project started back in 2009, with the former Black Eyed Peas star constantly changing his mind about the details. Somewhere along the way, the creature received a Bentley-like grille and Morgan-inspired fenders.
The engine now sits up front and we’re talking about a supercharged LS3. Blown V8 power is actually the first thing we’re happy to hear about here.
It seems that Will.I.Am has had two car customizers handle the job and they’ve reportedly complained about his absolute zero automotive culture. Perhaps he should take a lesson from Floyd Mayweather.
