2023 BMW M2 viene a redefinir la clase de cupé deportivo pequeño, se rumorea 490 HP

Con la nueva generación de la Serie 2 Coupé presentada la semana pasada, BMW ahora puede concentrarse en el desarrollo de otros autos nuevos, como el próximo M2, que no puede tener suficiente de Nurburgring.
Se rumorea que entrará en producción en diciembre del próximo año, con entregas que comenzarán poco después, el BMW M2 Coupé 2023 ha sido espiado nuevamente, haciendo las rondas habituales del famoso circuito alemán. El camuflaje nos impide detectar los detalles jugosos, como el estilo general más agresivo sobre sus hermanos de la Serie 2 .
Parece que la rejilla aumentará de tamaño, aunque no es tan grande como la que equipa los últimos M3 y M4 . Los faldones laterales se ven prácticamente idénticos a la línea regular de la Serie 2, y el spoiler de la tapa del maletero todavía está presente.
A diferencia de los tubos de escape dobles del nuevo M240i, el M2 tendrá cuatro tubos de escape redondos, con cortes en el difusor de aspecto diferente. Las ruedas específicas del modelo y las insignias M contribuirán al nuevo diseño, junto con la suspensión y los frenos M Sport.
Se ha informado que el motor de seis cilindros en línea de 3.0 litros con doble turbocompresor será significativamente más potente que el M2 CS , que tenía 444 HP disponibles. El rumor habla de entre 480 y 490 caballos de fuerza, lo que, de ser correcto, colocaría al nuevo M2 entre el M3 base y el M4, con sus 473 HP, y el M3 y M4 Competition que presumen de 503 HP.
En teoría, los dos últimos presumirían de ser más potentes, pero desde el M2 Coupéserá más pequeño y liviano, probablemente los aniquilaría en el cuarto de milla (y no solo). Por lo tanto, le recomendamos que tome este rumor con la proverbial pizca de sal y espere la confirmación oficial, o que el fabricante de automóviles lo revele, supuestamente hacia fines de 2022.

With the new generation 2 Series Coupe presented last week, BMW can now concentrate on the development of other new cars, such as the upcoming M2 that cannot get enough of the Nurburgring.
Rumored to enter production in December next year, with deliveries starting shortly after, the 2023 BMW M2 Coupe has been spied again, doing the usual rounds of the famous German racetrack. The camouflage prevents us from spotting the juicy details, such as the more aggressive overall styling over its 2-Series siblings.
It appears that the grille will indeed grow in size, though it isn’t anywhere as big as the one equipping the latest M3 and M4. The side skirts look pretty much identical to the regular 2-Series lineup, and the trunk lid spoiler is still present.
Unlike the dual exhaust pipes of the new M240i, the M2 will have four round tailpipes, with cutouts in the different-looking diffuser. The model specific wheels and M badges will contribute to the new design, joined by the M Sport suspension and brakes.
It has been reported that the twin turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine will be significantly more powerful than the M2 CS, which had 444 HP available on tap. The rumor mill speaks about between 480 and 490 horsepower, which, if correct, would place the all-new M2 between the base M3 and M4, with their 473 HP, and the M3 and M4 Competition that boast 503 HP.
In theory, the latter two would brag about being more powerful, but since the M2 Coupe will be smaller and lighter, it would probably annihilate them down the quarter mile (and not only).
