It is always a special occasion when there's a new BMW M3 and we just had to get behind the wheel. Watch Ciro de Siena get to grips with the latest G80 BMW M3 Competition. Is there a more iconic letter in the car alphabet? M from BMW represents a special breed of performance vehicle and when a new one is launched, people get excited. This new BMW M3 features a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-6 engine with 375 kW and 650 Nm, and power goes to the rear wheels via an 8-speed gearbox. An all-wheel-drive model will follow later in 2021. Is this new BMW M3 Competition good enough? We put Ciro de Siena behind the wheel on the safety of an airfield to see if's worthy of the M badge.

One Tire Fire
The arrival of an all-new M car (that's not another SUV) is an occasion. The M4 Competition is a very exciting car that oozes power from every angle. It has the world's most controversial nose, but you don't notice it as much after you spend some time with the car. It doesn't have a quick-shifting twin-clutch gearbox any more, and it's bigger and heavier than before. Has BMW ruined? No. Not by a long shot.
