Porsche 911-992 GT3 e Giulia Gtam. Oltrealla goduria di guidare auto del genere c'è stato un gran bel feeling umano con lo staff di Motor1. Giuliano Daniele, Andrea Farina e via discorrendo. Bellissime persone, genuine, semplici e molto preparate e professionali. Poi c'era MICHELIN, BREMBO, vabbè che te lo dici a fare... La Porsche gt3 mio ha lasciato senza fiato, addirittura meglio della GT3RS di Alan che ho provato tempo fa. L'avantreno è GRANITICO. L'auto è impressionante sotto ogni punto di vista, sia su strada che sul circuito di Modena da il meglio di se come se nulla fosse. Strada, pista, tutti habitat naturali per lei. Buona visione a tutti.

But there’s one huge problem: you (probably) can’t buy one. The recipe is a familiar one: take the 992-gen 911, swap out the 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine for a naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six taken almost completely unchanged from Porsche’s 911 GT3 Cup car. In the 992, Porsche has fitted the car with individual throttle bodies and a particulate filter, with power increasing to 510hp. It also gets double wishbone suspension up front, aimed at making it feel more like a racing car for the road. There’s no denying the new GT3 delivers an almighty driving experience, but there’s little change you’ll be able to buy one. Por ello, el 911 GT3 Special Edition luce un nuevo Fish Silver Grey Metallic, una interpretación moderna de aquel color desarrollado por Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, exclusivamente para este modelo. Porsche 911 GT3 Special Edition, exclusivo para Australia Esta edición especial para el mercado australiano está basada en el 911 GT3 Touring, al que se le han añadido algunos detalles especiales, como las insignias con la bandera de Australia, unos asientos exclusivos con un diseño de cuadros y otros elementos únicos en el interior. Es la primera vez que Porsche realiza una edición especial basada en un 911 GT para un mercado específico y la primera vez que desarrolla un modelo exclusivo para el mercado australiano. The aerodynamics, suspension, brakes and wheels have all been enhanced to take the car’s performance onto a new level. The development process has been similar to that of the performance packages for the 991 GT3 RS and the 991 GT2 RS and does not affect the manufacturer’s warranty. The new kits are expected to become available in the second quarter of 2022. “The team at Porsche in Weissach presented us with a big challenge when they produced the new GT3. Our goal of improving the performance of the Porsche GT models even further for track use, without making too many changes to the car’s essential DNA, and, at the same time, coming up with an attractive package for customers who love to drive on the track, has meant a lot of work for us with the new model. Alongside the performance, I’m also really pleased with the car’s appearance,” explains Stefan Mages, head of development. All the technology and expertise from the world of motor sport goes into the development of the performance kits, which are designed for track use. Extensive testing and many laps on Manthey’s home track, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, were involved in the development process to ensure that the Manthey products for road cars provide the best possible performance. As well as focusing on the performance on track, the developers also put the emphasis on ensuring that the cars remain suitable for everyday use, enabling customers to make relaxed trips to track days in their GT3s. “The first performance kit for a new model series is always something special and I am very proud that we’re now able to present the initial results. During fine-tuning runs, the production model lapped the Nordschleife, the traditional benchmark for all sports cars, 17 seconds faster than its predecessor. That’s really impressive and I can’t wait to see how fast the car will be with the Manthey performance kit,” says Nicolas Raeder, managing director of Manthey-Racing GmbH. Our Race Exhaust System by itself added peak gains of 23 whp and 19 ft-lbs of torque with excellent power added in the midrange and max RPM’s. Hydra's Stage 2 ECU tune added massive additional power gains when paired with our exhaust, unleashing total peak gains of 60 whp and 26 ft-lbs of torque and max gains of 60+ whp and 70+ ft-lbs of torque – quite incredible to see on a naturally aspirated engine. The software is quite limited from the factory in the lower RPM range to due to the implementation of GPF filters in the headers and ever increasing emissions standards. By removing the GPFs and the other restrictions in the exhaust, this allows the ECU tune to unlock the true potential of the 4.0L. Built for maximum power and sound for the 992 GT3 with interchangeable cat sections. Long tube runners and CNC’ed merge collectors optimize flow through the headers out to straight 3″ piping with an x-pipe for a higher pitched and smoother sound. We’ve got the new Porsche 911 Turbo S facing off against a new 911 GT3 and a 991 generation GT2 RS! And of course, as you’d expect, the stats on all three cars are absolutely wild… Starting with the 911 Turbo, it’s powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six that puts down 650hp & 800Nm. Of course, it’s super expensive, costing around £165,000, and it’s also pretty heavy, weighing in at 1,640kg. Alongside it, we have the awesome GT2 RS. It’s also powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six, but it puts down 700hp & 750Nm. It’s a fair bit lighter than the Turbo S, at 1,470kg. However, it’s got one big disadvantage - it’s RWD only! It’s also SUPER expensive these days, costing you around £300,000! Then finally we have the GT3. It’s powered by a 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six that delivers 510hp & 470Nm. It’s the lightest car here, at 1,435kg, and it’s also the cheapest, at £128,000. But just like the GT2 RS, it’s also only equipped with RWD!
